Dhruv's POV

I picked up my phone and saw that Aakriti was calling me. Finally, it felt like I had not talked to her for eternity. It seems like you can't avoid me any longer, Miss Nanda.

"Hello." I said.

"Dhruv, I need to meet you. Right now." She said with desperation.

"But I am busy right now. Do you think my company runs on its own?" I said, feigning arrogance.

"No, but." She said softly.

"Then what made you think I might meet you just because you want to meet me, leaving all my work?" You should know, Miss Nanda, that you can't just avoid me for days and suddenly ask me to meet you as if nothing has happened. I am eager to meet you, but let's not show you.

"I need to meet. It is urgent. Please." She pleaded in a soft tone.

"Ok. Ok. I will text you the address now."

I was eagerly waiting for her. It consumes too much energy to pretend to not want you, baby. I just wish I could hug you and tell you how much I love you. But I am pretty sure you might just kill me.

She entered the house with a serious look.

"Dhruv We need to talk. Do you know that our wedding got fixed?"

"Really." I feigned ignorance. I know Miss Nanda. If it wasn't for Sachi's wedding, I would have married you as early as possible.

"Dhruv, you really don't know."

"When is the wedding?" I asked her. Look at my acting. Should I be an actor? I deserve an award.

"Dhruv I can see that you are pretending."

"Oh really."

"Dhruv, be serious. This is important."

"Is it?" I said. I held her hand and pulled her towards me. I circled my other hand around her waist. She just stood still in my arms.

"Weren't I calling you for the past two days? Why didn't you answer my call?"

"Was it to speak regarding our marriage?"

"Or else. Were you avoiding my calls because you thought that I was madly in love with you and missed you?"

"Why did you agree to this marriage?" She asked me and looked straight into my eyes.

"What is the reason to not agree? Dadu didn't even allow me to give an excuse this time, and I even want to get married."

"Don't you already have your princess? Why don't you simply get married to her?" She said, making faces. You are still on that topic, Miss Nanda. You haven't discovered who Sachi is to me. Miss Nanda, You need to do some research about your future husband.

"What does my princess have to do with this matter?"

"Don't you love her?"

"I do." I said, and she looked sad. But that expression was only for a few seconds, and then her face held a blank look. I love her because she is my sister. Baby, when will you realize that you have feelings for me?

"Then get married to her and reject this wedding. We both will be happy. Just like you, I also don't want to marry you." She said. No matter what, I am sure that I will not be happy without you.

"Wasn't my plan working? You ruined everything by rejecting me. You made them anxious, and they fixed our wedding." I placed my hand on her waist in a sleek way. She just stood there looking at me.

"I didn't want to continue the plan and raise their hope. I never want to get married to anyone."

"Are you sure that you never wish to get married?" I asked her in a deep voice and pulled her closer. She blinked her eyes and slightly nodded her head.

I moved my mouth towards her ear, and I felt her body stiffening as my breath hit her ear.

"Aakriti, don't you know lying is a bad habit? Didn't you agree to marry anyone other than me? No matter what kind of a man he is, you are ready, and you don't even want to meet him once. What have I done that you hate me so much to the point of marrying a random man just to get rid of me?" I said and creased my lips gently on her ear to make it look accidental. I could feel goosebumps rising on her entire body. She placed her hands on my chest to get some support, and her body leaned on me. Her expression told me that I had found her sensitive part. I just stood there firmly.

After a few seconds, she opened her eyes and tried to push me. But couldn't.

"It is not to get rid of you. It's just to that..."

"Are you not able to form a lie? Do you need my help?"

"I am not lying." She said fumbling.

"Are you not? Miss Nanda, don't you know liars get punished? Should I also punish you?" I said and creased her ear with my lips. I gently bit her earlobe.

"Dhruv. Leave..." Her grip on my shoulder got tighter.

Her breathing became heavier. I felt her entire weight on me as if she had no strength left in her body.

She placed her forehead on my chest. She was trying to stabilize herself.

Suddenly she pushed me with all her strength.

"Stop messing, Mr. Rathore. Didn't you just tell me right now that you loved Sachi? What the hell are you doing? Why do you keep coming so close to me? What games are you playing?" She was fuming in anger.

"Games. You think that I am so free." I said nonchalantly.

"If you are not playing games, then what are you doing? You love someone else and yet come so close to me. What are you trying to do, Dhruv?" She said, looking at me with disgust. I love you, baby, and that's the reason why I am rushing towards you.

"I don't love anyone romantically, so I agreed to marry you."

"You jerk. Just a few minutes ago, you told me that you love Sachi, and now you are denying it. I thought you were decent, but you turned out to be a scoundrel. What exactly are you trying to do? Dhruv, you will hurt her." She looked sad and disappointed.

Did I just create a bad image of myself in her mind? Aakriti, stop your thoughts. What kind of nonsense are you thinking?

"It is not like..." Before I could complete my sentence, she punched me.

"Ouch." She punched me with great force.

"Chuck off. I don't care whether she will be hurt or not. But how dare you treat me like a second choice? Do you have a death wish, Mr. Rathore?" She said and stomped my foot.

"Oh my God." I yelled in pain.

"I just don't get why you agreed to marry me." She said, interrupting me.

"I already told you the answer to this stupid question, which you asked multiple times." I said. I didn't know she could be so annoying sometimes. I need to clarify the misunderstanding, or else she will beat the hell out of me.

"But I told you that I am not interested in getting married to you." She said it in anger.

"Go and tell that to your grandfather, not me." I replied.

"You know. I can't do that..." she said.

"Just like you, even I can't say no to my Dadu. I am not dying to marry you. You are just an average-looking girl who has a ton of arrogance. Understood, Miss Arrogant." I said. I don't even mean a single thing that I said right now. I am dying to marry you. But if you get to know this, you would not just break this marriage but also a few of my bones.

"Don't you dare call me that?" She said in anger. I thought she would be surprised, but it looks like she is aware of her nickname.

"Oh! I got scared. Somebody save me from Miss Arrogant." I said in a teasing way. She stomped her foot in frustration.

"It's no use to talk with you," she said. I repeated her actions and words to irritate her. Looks like I found a new hobby. I tried to control my smile as I saw her pouty face. She looks like an adorable squirrel. She turned to leave. My sight went on Kabir and Sachi.

"What is exactly going on?" Kabir whispered in a low voice to Sachi, but I could hear him. He just kept looking at me. It must be too shocking for him to see my childish side.

"Hello!" Kabir greeted Aakriti. She just gave a small smile and greeted him back. Sachi greeted her, but she frowned at her.

"Miss Arrogant." I said, and she glared at me. I ignored her look and went closer to them.

"Looks like you forgot her. Meet my princess. My sister Sachi." I said, and her expression suddenly softened. I smirked at her. She looked embarrassed. Miss Nanda, finally you realize that I have no one that I am in love with. Except for you, but let's keep it a secret for the time being.

"Nice meeting you." Aakriti said and quickly left the house. I couldn't help but smile at her cute behavior.

"Bhai, what was all that?" Sachi asked me, but I left without answering. Miss Nanda, No matter how much you deny or try to run away, you are going to marry me.
