She didn't come to work today. I hurt her again yesterday. I felt Mom was just bringing that accident to threaten me. But yesterday she proved that she is capable of killing anyone. Especially Ruhi. She loathes her. But why? How anyone can hate Ruhi is beyond my understanding. I extended a great deal of trust to that woman because she was my mother. And now I look like a fool. I was relaxed that I could handle everything, but now I am worried. Or rather, I am terrified of that woman’s madness. I need to take action to not just teach her a lesson but to make sure my Ruhi is completely safe. I searched my contacts and finally found the number. I hesitated for a second to make a call but still touched the call button. With each passing second, my heartbeat was rising. I still remember how confidently I told him that I would never need his help. And here I am? But it’s worth it because it’s for my Ruhi’s safety. I took a bullet for him, and he told me I can always rely on him. I hope it is still valid.
