Dhruv's POV
I don't know why Sachi is not picking up my call. I tried calling Riya, but she is also not recieving my call.
"Riya, where have you been? I have been calling you since yesterday." I said furiously.
"Hello, sir." She said.
"Why are you both not picking up my call? What happened at the wedding?" I asked anxiously.
"Sir, Due to a family situation, I was unable to attend the wedding, therefore I am unaware of what occurred. Maam, didn't get married to the selected groom." She said making me happy.
"Thank God Sachi didn't get married." I said with relief.
"But she got married to someone else." She said.
"What!" I yelled in shock.
"I am not getting anything. Whom did she get married to and why?" I asked anxiously. I am on the verge of pulling my hair. Why the hell did I not attend her wedding?
"She tried to run away from her wedding and asked a man to drop her at the station. But her family found her, and they thought he was her lover and got them married. He left her on the street in the middle of the night and misunderstood that it was all her plan to trap him. He thought that she did all this for money. If I ever find him, I will hit him pretty hard on his head so he gets back his sense." Riya said. Her words were so shocking that they made me feel aggrieved. Even if I was angry on her, I should have attended her wedding?
"Is Sachi all right? Where is she, and why is she not answering my call? Where is she now? Give her the phone. I want to talk to her." I said.
"She took a new work offer in Delhi. She might be on the flight when you were calling her." she said.
"You mean to say she married an unknown man? On top of that, a jerk who left her on the street late at night because he thought she was a gold digger." Like really. Who is this stupid man? What would be his reaction when he knows how much property she owns? But I don't think he is particularly wrong to react in such a way except for leaving her on the street alone with jewelry. How would anyone react if he/she is suddenly thrown into a marriage?
"Why is she alone? Are you are not with her?"
"I am handling all the work here and then go to Delhi in a few days."
"Take care of her, and if anything happens call me."
"Yes, sir. I will take proper care of her." I called my assistant to come into my cabin.
"Get all the information about the guy who married Sachi. Everything his personality, character, habits, affairs, job, family, interests, hobbies, friends, etc." I said desperately.
"Sir, What is his name?" He inquired.
"I don't know anything about him except the fact that he got married to my sister. Search everything about him as soon as possible." He gave me a confused look and wanted to ask more. I raised my eyebrow and gave him a stern look. I am not answerable to you. Just get the work done.
"Yes, Sir" He said and left my cabin.
Sachi, when will you grow up? What mess have you created? Whom did you get married to? Who is that guy? What if he is already married or has a girlfriend? I have a severe headache at this moment. Why the hell do I have problematic siblings? One after another, one of the three will cause a problem and ruin my mental health. My private mobile rang, and I picked up without looking at the caller id.
"Hello," I said in a hoarse voice.
"What the hell do you mean by hello? Why on the planet would you send me something so disgusting?" The other side said in a loud voice. Who is she? I finally realized it was Aakriti. Why is she calling me unnecessarily and yelling at me?
"Miss Nanda. It would be better if you tone down your voice. I am not your fucking employee on whom you can raise your voice and, could you please care to explain to me what exactly happened. Because at this moment, I have no idea why you are yelling at me like a mad woman. You might be free, but unlike you, I have a lot of work to do other than entertaining you." I said in a stern voice. Does she think I have no reputation and standard to treat me like that?
"Then why did you send that freaking bouquet to me? You clearly said you weren't interested in that damn wedding and here I am receiving a red rose bouquet. Are you trying to impress me? Guess what it is not going to work. I am immune to all these crappy things." She said in anger. What nonsense is she talking about? When did I send anything to her? I already feel so stressed out from so many different things that I don't even have time to unwind. And she believes I can chase her around like a teen.
"Are you done, or do you want to ramble a bit more? Firstly I am not a sappy teenager who will send a bouquet to the girl I like and waste my time chasing her. Secondly, I am not madly in love with you, and most of all I don't even like you. Why will I chase you? And lastly, don't call me unless someone dies or is on the verge of dying. I have given my private number to you. Those who have this number know that they should not call me during office unless it is extremely important. Bye, Miss Nanda." I said and cut the call. Whose face did I see in the morning? Everything is just messing up today. I looked at Kabir, who was leaning on the cabin door. He was standing there like a statue with a constipated expression.
"Was it your stupid idea?" I asked in a stern voice. He didn't reply and looking at his expression, I got my answer.
"I will deal with you later. First, let me handle this mess." I said giving him a deadly glare and started my work. I could feel that he was still standing there like a statue.
"Get lost, Kabir." I said a bit loudly without lifting my head from the file.
"My head. Oh, My God! It's painful. It feels as if someone is hammering my head. Please stop." I said and started massaging my forehead. God! I seriously need the answer. Why the hell do I have problematic siblings? When will they grow up and stop causing trouble?
Third person's POV
Dhruv's Dadu was in the garden basking in the sun and sipping his tea. He suddenly received Kabir's call. He picked up the call. Kabir started babbling as soon as the call got connected.
"Instead of getting close, they fought with each other. I just sent flowers. How would I know it would cause a problem for Bhai? You told me that Bhabhi was exactly like Bhai, but I still thought that she would be pleased after receiving flowers as a present like other girls. Bhai likes her but maybe she does not like him. How can I be so stupid? Why the hell did I interfere in their matter? Who can save me from Bhai's wrath? I didn't even get a chance to have a girlfriend. Am I going to die single because for sure bhai is going to kill me? " Kabir was ranting nonstop in a childish tone.
"First of all, calm down. As for solving this matter, I will arrange another date for them to meet. I will ask my friend to explain everything to her. Even I didn't stop you from doing it so somewhere I am also at fault. Don't use your brain, it doesn't work in the right direction. You will simply ruin the matter as always. Stay out of their matter. I will come up with a good idea to bring them close to each other." Dhruv's Dadu cut the call and, called his friend(Aakriti's Dadu) and narrated the incident to him.
"She hates anything and everything that symbolizes love. Instead of liking that bouquet, she must have thrown it in the dustbin for sure. I told you how she is, yet you did something so stupid. Instead of bringing her closer to your grandson, you have pushed them more apart. You idiot." Aakriti's Dadu said.
"I know agreeing to Kabir's plan was a bad idea. I just thought of creating some bond between them. I sincerely wish to see him get married this year. My child has been through a lot. I want him to have a shoulder to lean on and share his feelings. It is the first time I have seen him interested in someone. I have to get them married at any cost, or else there is no chance of him getting married." Dhruv's dadu said. His tone reflected desperation.
"You think you are the only one desperate to get them married. I have been trying for the past five years to get her married, but every time after the first date, the boy rejects her. I got to know that she was threatening them. Like seriously, what bad deeds have I done in my past life to experience this stuff? I am pretty sure she must have treated your grandson similarly. I was shocked when your grandson didn't reject the idea of marrying her and even asked for time to get to know her. She has created that wall around her. It will require a specific person to see through it and heal her broken heart. I want them to get married. Do something to solve this mess." Aakriti's dadu said anxiously.
"Really. You mean she might have threatened him so he will reject her. Your granddaughter has the guts to poke the devil. Now I know why Dhruv didn't reject her. My grandson must have found her behavior to be more amusing. At least one is interested it makes our work somewhat easy. How about we set more dates for them? At least twice a week or I can invite her to have dinner with us." Dhruv's dadu said with a slight smile.
"That's a good idea. But last time they barely spent half an hour together. If she has dinner with your family she will only pretend to be sweet in front of you for my sake. Having a family dinner should be postponed for now. Let's arrange more dates for them, but we need to do something so that they spend more time together." Aakriti's dadu said with a frown.
"The only problem is that even if we make them spend more time together, they will hardly hold any conversation. Both are like stone statues."
"I know that's why I have a better plan. How about we make them work on a project together? Two heartless entrepreneurs will only hold a conversation when it is about profit."
"So true. Let me arrange a project for them to work together. The Mittal's project No no no. Bansal's no no no. Grand Hotel project no no no. How the hell are we going to make them work together? Your company is a pharmaceutical one. How are going to make them work together?"
"My granddaughter is ten steps ahead of me. Do you think she only works in my company? She has invested in multiple businesses and is always ready to explore business ideas in different fields. You remember the airport project that was on your mind forever."
"Yes but I was not able to find a perfect land for that project, and now it won't be possible. I don't have the body to handle all the stress, and Dhruv has other plans and projects in his mind so I don't want to burden him."
"I have a land in Rajasthan, and I feel it would be perfect for your project. How about we make them work together on that project? They would get to know more about each other."
"If you had the land, you could have told me before. I could have purchased the land and completed my dream project. You stupid arrogant fool."
"And what makes you think I would have given it to you? I bought it just ten years ago with a plan in my mind but the plan didn't work. I am still not sure whether I want to give that land to you. I am doing it for my granddaughter."
"Ok. Ok. Fine. I understand. We can only pray for them to get close to each other. I want to see their wedding, or else I will not be in peace."
"I don't care whether they get close or not. I want them married this year. I have been going crazy trying to get her married for last five years. So by hook or crook, I am going to get her married to your grandson. Aakriti's dadu said angrily and cut the call.
